Happy New Year! It’s officially 2025 and while 2024 was a tumultuous time for me, I want this year to be better. You can read about my unscheduled hiatus here. There may be ups and downs, but I worked in this last of the year on continuing to push through and gain a good writing plan for those ups and downs. With a new year comes new goals.
My 2025 Goals
My Goals for the new year are in two categories – Writing/Publishing & Personal. I plan to share both this year. If they’re out in the world, that makes them real. Sharing them also makes me feel accountable to them.
Writing & Publishing Goals
- Complete the Truly Faeted Series
- Start the next series in that shared world.
- Write and publish a combination of 12 novellas and short stories
- Consistently market and post on my socials and blog
- Start an Authortube Channel
- Start my Serial Story Subscription
- Write daily
Personal Goals
- Start my health and fitness journey
- Read at least 24 books for the year
- Learn digital art in procreate
- Get my proofreading certificate
- Play more video games as a hobby
While it might seem ambitious, some of these things have been in the works for a while. Time and personal or family medical issues caused a delay in achieving them. This year is all about transparency for me. I want to keep going in the face of obstacles and if I need to step away, I want to keep you all in the loop.
In the spirit of transparency, I want to share my tentative releases for this year. They may be subject to change, but I have my entire year mapped out.

Some things may get pushed if life gets uncontrollable, but I plan to share so many of the things I have been working on in the background with you all.
This week may see several blog posts as I jumpstart my authortube, release another Holiday Novelette, and review holiday movies and books. December ended on a note of loss and family hospitalization, so I’m going to hold onto the holiday spirit through the month of January.
